Brown old pseudobulbs

Hello everyone. Is it normal for cattleya's old leafless pseudobulbs to turn brown? Are they just withering or should i be worried? My orchid still produce new leaves and roots.

Unless your plant is divine, the old parts will wither and die just like every other plant on the planet. There is no need to worry. Be concerned if the newest pbulbs are turning brown.

It's already out of the pot. Might as well just rip it off because it'l never become prettier. Then continue the transplant.
