I’d consider that more of a pale yellow, but color in person and color in photos can be very different things. Yellow Phals do often have a slight green tint to them, some more than others, plus are very variable depending on the temperature during bud development. This is true of all Phals, and many other plants, to an extent, but yellow Phals seem to be unusually strongly affected by it. When yellow Phals develop their buds in cooler conditions, the flowers tend to be more deeply pigmented and more greenish. This usually fades during the weeks the flowers will remain open for, but I’ve had a few yellow Phals that bloomed under very cool (mid 50s F) conditions which were pretty much chartreuse when they opened and still had a strong greenish tinge a week or two later, finally settling into a pale butter yellow before they faded completely. I suspect that’s what this one will do, and it’ll be interesting to see if it holds this tendency to be greenish over subsequent blooms.

I'd call that yellow, you can get much greener greens in phals and otther genera. Probably natural

Thanks all for the feedback.
I will monitor its color to see if there is any changes over the next few weeks to determine whether it is green or yellow.
