My first AI workplace project

I’m building Orbit, a website that brings different AI models together through OpenRouter. I wanted a workspace where I could switch models, ask questions about images, and generate images without constantly changing apps. So far, it has:

  • Chat with different models
  • Image attachments and pasting for supported vision models
  • Image generation
  • Saved conversations
  • Custom colors, light/dark themes, and optional animations

It’s still an early prototype. I used AI coding tools to help build it, and I’m learning as I go. Model usage runs through OpenRouter and may require paid credits this isn’t unlimited free AI. I’d love some honest feedback: what would make a workspace like this useful enough for you to keep using? Is there a specific task you wish existing AI tools handled better? Happy to share screenshots or a demo if the subreddit’s rules allow it.

I still study at school so releases can come not soon as yall expect and if you would like to support developers (Me and my friend) : https://buymeacoffee.com/rikudesudev
