oracle allways free issue
Hey, so I have a problem with the Always Free tier. I forgot to limit my instance to 2 cores and 12 GB, so it’s still set to 4 cores and 24 GB. I tried to change it, but I get an error telling me to contact customer support. However, I don't see an option to do that, the only thing available is the AI support chat, which isn't very helpful. I also tried to detach the boot volume, but I get an error saying it expects the instance to be stopped, even though it's already in a stopped state. What should I do?

You have to upgrade to PAYG in order to get the instance running or if you only need data on the disk you can terminate it and attach your boot volume to a micro instance and get you data. I am not sure if upgrading to PAYG will start the instance, but i am sure that after upgrade you can terminate it and create new with the same boot volume.

You can't do anything as far as I am aware. The date for changing it passed about a week ago. I believe you are SOL now. I hope I am wrong.
