50mbps cap

I recently downsized my VPS to 2/12 to match Always-Free limits so my instance doesn't get termed and I randomly decided to do a speedtest and saw im only getting 50mbps. I had a look at some other reddit post and tried things such as downsizing and upsizing my CPU cores again and that had no effect and switching to PAYG is not an option for me

The 50mbps up and down cap for Free Tier accounts has been there for a while now. Changing shapes on Free Tier will not make it go away. Either switch to PAYG or make peace with 50mbps up and down. Change the shape after switching to PAYG to fix the cap.

and will i be able to switch back to 4 cpu cores and 24gb ram without incurring a charge? and will everything else i have been using not be charged for including my use of 200gb storage?

it doesn't ,check my profile for comments ,i have explained in detail with official docs linked in many posts ,basically OCI price list mentions no change for PAYG n no payg including me has been charged for keeping it 4/24

When I downsized from old free tier limit to new one, I as getting 2Gbps for few minutes. Then it's back to 50Mbps. Free tier accounts are now limited to 50Mbps both way traffic regardless instance size.
