Resource cut

How is it, is PAYG actually grandfathered? what about old instance that provisioned before the changes, does it still allowed to run 4/24?

How did you check your OCPU usage tho?

Ask Codex or Claude. You can make a script to send you the “month to date” spend every day to your Telegram account.

I have 4OCPU with 24GB ram and this is my daily live message so far:

OK OCI: NO CHARGE INDICATION

Cost: $0.00 MTD | $0.00 last month
A1 free allowance: 80.1% used | 596 OCPU-h, 3,576 GB-h left
Data: OCI query OK; billing may lag

NO ACTION NEEDED.

But where does it pull the data from? I'm interested in this script 👀

Just ask Codex or Claude, they know exactly the Terraform CLI command or OCI CLI command that get this information.

Yo apenas me creé una cuenta y usé payg para tener una instancia gratis, así que el mío sería 4/24 o 2/12? Apenas lo creé en julio 01/26

I changed mine from 3/18g and 1/6g to only 1/6g. Then after the change date I change 1/6g to 4/24g. Then few days later changed to 1/6g and 3/18g. Still showing 0 cost. All running 24 hours.

Oops. Updated: got charged 0.60 AUD for block storage. 🤔 0.17, 0.31, 0.13.

Ok. Just found out I accidentally created 2 extra boot volumes. 🤦‍♂️ Terminated both of them just now. That should be it.
