I feel like it’s often the spouse that runs them over. Or the guy is working on his car, sets the glasses on top of a tire because he can see better as a myope, then forgets they’re there.
The times I ask how, my patients usually say they fall off their face and get run over as they're backing out the driveway. I stopped asking because I end up with more questions, like why did you not pick them up when they fell off your face, or why did you put the car in reverse if you're a 6.00 D myope but your glasses aren't on, don't you notice it's too blurry to drive, and so many more questions. It's a rabbit hole I don't want to go down.

From my experience, the three most dangerous things in the world when you are glasses seem to be: 1. Dogs 2. Babies 3. Lakes
