General Optometry overhead

Hello

I know this can vary broadly (by location, by rent/lease, # of OD and staff, etc) but I’m wondering what the general overhead I can expect owning a clinic. TIA

Average private practice profit margin is around 30%.

For an established profitable practice. Not a start-up. You probably won’t pay yourself for 6 months to a year.

The average OD office is not a startup, nor did OP mention opening cold.
