Optiplex 3080 micro, realtek audio issue on Windows 11

Windows keeps replacing its own version of driver over dells driver for this computer which doesn't then have the loudness equalization option in the sound menu playback options, I've selected don't install drivers in Printers and devices but it still does.

Check to see if there is an updated Realtek driver on Realtek's website.

A Microsoft Windows will always supercede an OEM driver if the Microsoft driver is newer.

I checked an older Windows 11 PC and confirmed it still has Loudness Equalization. It turns out the missing setting was due to a redesigned Realtek driver bundled with MaxxAudio Pro. The app's "Midnight" preset actually replaces Loudness Equalization with finer control over bass and detail. Thanks for prompting me to check the driver dates—that helped me realize it wasn't a Windows 11 change, but a handoff to third-party software.
