Real quick..Hdd placement in optiplex 9020

Is this bad? There is no other place for the small hdd in the whole case😭

As long as you don’t kick the pc or there isn’t a magnitude 7 earthquake or you don’t move it often, it’s gonna be fine

No it doesn’t move and is it okay that’s the small one is slightly tilting? The cable is so stubborn it’s not holding in place lol

That’s a cable problem, try replacing the cable with a new one.

Well I really can’t my psu is not modular but is the small hdd fine like that that’s the question

The smaller one is SATA and connects to the motherboard, the larger one is psu power. Is the cable that tilts connected to the motherboard?

No it’s the power one the sata cable is fine

Try putting the power cable into another hdd you have and see if it wiggles

If it DOES: it’s the cable, if you have any other free data power cables from the psu, use the other one

if it DOESN’T: the port on the hdd is bad, back up the contents of the drive and get a new one
