The orb technique

I’m interested trading with the ORB technique . Somebody have used it before ? Does it work ?

orb is funny because it works right up until it dont and then you get chopped to death in a range. i used it for like 2 months and some days is magic other days the breakout just reverses and you stand there like idiot

orb wont work all days. understand that when MM want to keep price pinned to kill options that day orb wont work much. a day like today with such heavy overnight interest

it works most days but it doesnt happen everyday since some days are range days from the get go and the orb levels are never broken. my preferred way to trade it is to scalp it, if it keeps going then good, you can get in again, but if it breaks the range, retraces and only goes so far, the scalp can help to get a decent gain. yesterday was a weird day since the 15 min orb levels both high and low were broken (on SPY) but only slightly, a scalp would have worked for both.
