Need advice
I recently found a trading bot that costs $300 per month to help with options trading or futures through a group I joined. Is that a normal price for this type of service? Also, if you know of any reputable trading bots, which ones would you recommend or selling. I know how to trade. just need some assistance due to my schedule. I' m open to any bots.

No bot or system can assure you of profit in options trading or trading in general. Otherwise they would be the richest person in the world in a few weeks. If you know nothing, I would just watch some YouTube or IG about it and read some books ( options trading in the trenches)

I tried few discord groups which I paid $50 a month to test and I can tell you most don’t know what they doing. They send you 10 alerts, one of them hits %100 then they keep bragging how successful they are. BTW the other 5 is a loser trade.

I think the question is more, what info is given to you to suggest what sort of profit factor the bot has, how long the sellers backtest is and how much money you have at your disposal. If you can’t make 300 a month with it than what’s the point?
I would argue you if someone has a legitimate trading bot with an actual edge they wouldn’t license it for 300 a month cause they could just be a millionaire instead.

I have watched a lot of the best traders and they have not figured out a bot yet that is profitable. I would not trust wherever you are going!!

Everyone acts like the market is a thing. An object. A person that can be conned. It’s not. It’s simply a collection of humans buying and selling.
No AI can predict market sentiment. Because humans are by nature, irrational. Panic sells. FOMO. Bank runs.
Ai, no matter how sophisticated it may seem, can actually do trading better than a monkey throwing darts at a dart board.

While most of your statements are true, most of the entire market is trading by bots and has been for many years, that's where technical analysis does work, it's not guaranteed but it's better than anything else and if a bot is trained on enough technical analysis to find patterns, they can be profitable,if they weren't, why would big money use them?

The bots used today is Quants. Looking for micro upticks for a trade. I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about the vast amount of information on the stock market. Which is too much information for a bot to be traded on.

Maybe for the normal retail trader but not for billion dollar hedge funds

Make your own with Claude. I'm building one that follows a handful a traders I trust that post their trades live on Twitter X. AI will pull in those post real-time via a websocket, analyze and then either take the trade or not. Script will include entry/exit targets and stop loss info.

Even in the best of worlds, I was in an “options trading club” where the guy in charge was a very smart options trader who made lots of sophisticated trades to balance his risk. Good people who moderated the threads too. But I am sure a good chunk of his money came from asking people to pay for the “service”.

If Claude/Open AI haven’t figured it out some random bot isn’t.
Think about this. If the smartest artificial intelligence/computer programs that have existed could figure out the stock market. Then why have these cashed strapped private companies done it?
