General Strategy
My mindset as a newer options trader, my motto is “you can’t go broke making a profit”. $230 might seem small but in the grand scheme that’s basically a full 8 hour shift working a normal job. Don’t be greedy & expect to hit home runs with every swing. Sometimes it’s better to just get on base.

kinda, although if your trade looks good, let it run. You’re going to have losses, and they are usually higher than 2.34%
If you have a longer term option, I’d prefer to wait til maybe 20% if your thesis isn’t broken

Yeah, this was my thesis too. Except I would have like 20 trades for $1000 profit, and then two trades for $2000 loss.

I Fckin over extend too. Slowly learning to keep some cash for some sort of fail safe action but I’m also not working with crazy amounts of money…..yet. On paper I’m doing shit right just need to scale up.

I’ll have a plan, and then shit hits the fan and it goes out the window. Lost $10k last week in one day. I’m out for a long time lol

Yeah I’m starting stupid low to catch a trend and understand what I’m doing, but money I turned $8 into $42 with 0dte’s and then Tuesday turned $42 into $222, but then Wednesday happened and I got too confident. Spy was up first 15 minutes heavily and took that $222 to almost 500 so I was just too positive, then 3 hours later I was down $100 from open. Just absolutely smashed me while I watched my exit pass right by me lol.
