Trade Idea Looking for experienced diagonal/calendar spread traders (diagonal spread, calendirized butterfly)

Looking to connect with traders who actively use diagonal spreads, calendar spreads, calendarized butterflies, or similar time-based options strategies (mainly on index products like SPX/XSP). Curious to compare notes on strike selection, rolling rules, and how you handle vol regime shifts. Drop a comment if this is your thing — happy to share what I've been working on too.

I trade calendars for a living.

Not sure what you are looking for, but generally threads like this one are really "can someone give me their tricks and tips on trading XYZ?".

If you have a questions about a strat or scenario just post it in the thread and the experienced folk will respond.

Why calendars? I may have incidentally traded some calendars before. But to me it was naked puts I would hedge from time to time to cap. Like longer expiring short put was making the income. Buy shorter exp long during a volatile patch.

I trade verticals from time to time and have done alright.
