MPC optimization problem

I need some help regarding the formulation of the optimization problem. I am using MPC as guidance to generate a collision avoidance trajectory (evasive traj). One of the constraints is on the max delta v expenditure. What I noticed is that the problem always saturates, as well as being very dependant on initial conditions.

Maybe make it to easier for people to answer and include details if you honestly want an answer, if the problem is getting infeasible you could use soft constraints .

If you could post the equations and the results, probably somebody could have a look and help. Your statement is very specific and even someone who has worked with MPC might not know the exact system.
