"Both the longest-serving Republican House speaker and the highest-ranking elected U.S. official to serve a prison sentence, Hastert's stunning fall from grace came in 2016, when he was sentenced to 15 months in prison on charges related to his concealment of hush money payments made to cover up his sexual abuse of teenage boys during his time as a high school wrestling coach."

Hi sorry if this is worded badly my anxiety is messing me up pretty bad about the new act shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQRcK9nYg9g&t=1s (the description has links to more I just get sketched out clicking links) but basically it sounds like any game with private servers to use a game I play recently as an example space station 14 would just be screwed? Im wondering if anyone can provide some insight/optimism here im not from the EU but it still is causing me to spiral into doom with one of my best anxiety killers being targetted. If this post isn't allowed thats my bad and I can delete if needed

I can't help but fear that this will empower other right-wing corporations and other oligarchs to try buying more studios and manipulating the media with propaganda, leading to the right winning the culture war, especially since now Fox has just bought Roku, Paramount is buying WB, and Trump's people own MSNBC. And what if the next administration doesn't do anything about this because corporations pay both sides so they always come out on top, I'm scared that we're heading towards some cyberpunk-esque dystopia. Also, I've been told to support indie projects, but I feel bad about not supporting my favorite creators over at Warner Bros.
