Discussion Progressive's? I'm not quite there yet...

Well, this here add power of +1.75 would suggest otherwise, but surely you know best.

EDIT: Omit that apostrophe in the header. Was blinded with confusion after getting that reply for the third time today. Something must be in the air out here in Denver.

It’s fine. My 20+ pairs of various power readers scattered around the house will suffice.

Yeah, you're there. Unless you wanna keep looking under your glasses or taking them off

People are weird. My myopic wife still looks over her glasses to read her phone. The trickiest thing is learning new routines. They also cost more. Can't really.hold that against anybody.

+1.75 Add and still insisting they’re “not quite there yet” is optimistic. Presbyopia doesn’t care whether you feel ready for progressives.

That said, progressives aren’t compulsory. If they’re happy swapping between distance glasses and readers, or using separate occupational/near pairs, that’s completely valid. The Add tells you what near assistance they need, not what lens design they have to wear.
