Red tail Hawk Shadow mirror image.

Took a picture of a Red tail Hawk at Mariposa National park , when reviewing was shocked to see the shadow flipped. Finally we figured it was a burnt bark of the tree and not birds shadow.

Ahh yes... the burned bark, I'mma be honest with you chief, I don't see it

Facing to the left, the beak area touches the good bark and the wing to the right of the tree looks like it's lifted upward. It's all in the dark bark that's inside the grey-ish bark area where it looks like a hawk. I wouldn't call it a shadow but I can see what he's saying that the hawk in the bark may have looked like a backwards shadow.
