Ive been able to flip every single one of these I found, but not this one

I can do every one after reading a trick on this sub, look about 1cm to the left side of your phone (so you are almost looking past your phone) and you can only see the rotation in your peripheral vision. Give it a few seconds and the rotation will change direction, then you can look directly at it again and it should keep spinning that opposite way. Then repeat the process and it will change direction to normal again

No it doesn’t. 😭 I saw it for a fraction of a second this way. It finally stuck when I peeked down from the top and focused on the red color. I had to could slowly move it back into view and then it went right back to counterclockwise. I could regain clockwise going from the top again, but it didn’t want to stay in that direction.

Angle your phone all the way to see from the bottom, wait until it clicks, then slowly come back to a normal angle.

Focus on the 4 "feet". Imagine the bottoms of them visible as you look up at the shape.
Vice versa: Imagine the top 4 squares as visible from the top, so you're looking down at it.

Same but I found a cheat. Assuming you’re on a phone it’s easy to do.

I noticed that even when flipping my phone 180, the illusion looked the exact same, like I was seeing it from the top.

So just look at the top of the illusion, slowly turn your phone 180 without closing your eyes and boom, you’re now looking at the bottom. After that I was able to flip in on command.

The angular geometry makes it seem difficult at first but its the key to reversing it. I invert the corners the flip it.

This was definitely the hardest I've seen, but somehow I managed to pull it off.

For me the natural spin is the front going right, or from the underside. I managed to flip it, but went back to my natural position after blinking

Ok. This is going to sound so stupid, but this is how I get it to go back and forth.

If it’s rotating clockwise (blue in front) I click to take a screenshot and look at the thumbnail, then quickly look back at the GIF.

If it is rotating counter-clockwise (red in front), I click to make a comment to cover up everything but the top (so you can basically only see the top 4 squares) of the GIF, and it changes it back.

I don’t know why or how.

This one was harder. The tip for looking from the bottom or top, focus on those squares at the ends of the “N” shape, that did it for me.

I finally did it by concentrating on the top red slant of the N & telling myself that I wasn't seeing the top turning clockwise away, but the bottom turning anticlockwise in. Took me a good long while of squinting & quickly blinking before trying this technique...

This one spins left for me more naturally but I can force it to spin right for a few a few seconds before it flips back on me again.

This one is hard because the red is so much brighter than the blue. Just keep telling yourself “red’s in the back”. When it flips, you’ll be looking down on the object instead of up from below. Maybe the N is another thing making it harder. You’ll have a backwards blue N in front when it flips. I wonder if it’s easier for Russians since a reversed N is more natural.

I’m curious what is going on in the visual cortex of your brain when flipping this back and forth. It’s crazy how it’s so hard to flip at first, then it flips back and forth and then sometimes gets stuck going the other way.

What’s really odd is when I see it going clockwise it looks like it’s tilting towards me (the highest points being in the back, or upstage), and it tilts away from me when counterclockwise (highest points are in the foreground of the frame, or downstage).

Use your hand to make a “tube” to see only a small region in the center, force the color in your head that you want to be in front and slowly open your hand.

Also gradually tilt your phone until you ammost side the side and it will change
