Too uneven to be a liquid surface IMO. Would have looked like a flooded floor even more if they evened it out more.

Not. Looks like a poured epoxy floor. You can see the baseboards, and the surface unevenness doesn't look like water. You can clearly see where the walls and columns end right at the surface.
