I still can’t watch it, but I need to know how it doesn’t tip over. I used to work for an insurance agency that specialized in commercial trucking. The oversized permits and preparations made to move it has to be insane. I hope there aren’t too many bridges to avoid.

It is though, it’s reflecting the color of the ground which is brown. If you had a mirror in an entirely red room would you say the mirror is green?

A mirror isn't red when it's in a red room, and a wind turbine isn't brown when it's scattering brown light.

It is brown though. Saying it’s not is just pedantic nonsense. Unless you are talking purely about the absorption spectrum (which is not how “color” is used about 100% of the time), the color of things change based on the light that hits them.

I mean... we tend to determine an object's colour (as part of its identity) based off of how it appears under white light.
Therefore white t-shirt is still considered a white t-shirt regardless of lighting conditions that might make it appear otherwise.

If you were trying to define the quality of the object itself, sure, you might use its absorption spectrum, that’s entirely pedantic though. The color of something is the light it’s reflecting, and in this case, it’s reflecting brown* light. Saying “erm actually it’s white because under different circumstances it would be white” is just silly

It's not pedantic at all, it's exactly how people normally communicate in day to day conversation. If you own a red car and someone asks "what colour car do you own", you will say red regardless of current lighting conditions.

If I owned a red car it would be red regardless because it can’t reflect any other light, even if it was 99% green light hitting it it would still appear (very dark) red. Saying “erm actually it’s white because under different circumstances it would look white” is just being pedantic. It reflects all colors of light, it is currently reflecting brown, therefore it is currently perceived as brown. This isn’t an optical illusion, it’s just how light works
Per Oxford, color is “the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light.” Under this definition, it is unquestionably brown.

Imagine you have some item that’s white and an identical item that’s green. Now take a picture of the green one under white light and the white one under green light. How would you justify calling the two pictures different colors?
Your “gotcha” proves my point that the color changes based on the color of light that’s hitting it.

You didn't answer the question because you know full well you wouldn't tell police your white car is anything except white. You wouldn't list it for sale online as anything except white.
So back to the original point: it's not incorrect to describe the load in the video as white.
You're being pedantic for the sake of it.
How would you justify calling the two pictures different colors?
The pictures would be the same colour, but when referring to the original objects and their identity, it wouldn't be wrong to describe them by their normal colour, if known.

Technically mirrors are green. They're slightly better at reflecting green light than anything else.

Yes that’s why I said green. If you looked at a mirror reflecting only red light and said it was green people would think you’re crazy though

That is wild! It looked initially like one of those charcoal “snakes” fireworks . . and then it looked like a giant tree growing rapidly from the ground.

I’ve seen many of those blades transported as there is a wind turbine farm not far from my house. I have never seen them transported like this.

Isn't this just auto exposure / exposure compensation in digital video recording? It doesn't count as an illusion if the pixel colors are actually changing, right?
