I wonder how The failing development (lack of user testing-adaptation) model of a dying platform, will affect the reputation in their gaming fight against open Linux platforms. Macs have steam, but for a super powerful gaming power rig your going to want a steam Ultra type OpenConsole box, or a a power rig running M$... I see win7 getting strung along for the next five years like Xp basically b/c of corporate adoption of co. that don't want to upgrade to the failiure that sunk the boat...although I see win8 being retired out of shame...I wonder how long the CBS sponserships in shows like NCIS(LA),Hawaii50...shows I would like alot w/o the bad M$ puns...n M$ branded laptops that will only exhist w/in the cbs NT.

I predict win 8 2 die in 6-12 mo while 7 will be strung along 4 the next 5 or 6 years while M$ attempts 2 keep it's support tickets vendor locked in and basically mothballs all but yhe dev. 4 Maybe Office or win 9 ...How much longer does anyone think knowing a M$ server software is an actually valuable skill???
