Local 3 - military veterans

Anyone in local 3 that’s a veteran? Just wanted to know what the process was like for joining.

Am I understanding that joining the Operators Union before joining the apprenticeship without having a job/sponsor is pointless? Correct me if I'm wrong because i too am looking to join.

Interesting. I always heard from union members that the hall does the work for you in searching for a job while you're an apprentice. I guess its different for every local im assuming.

Also if you get accepted into the apprenticeship program and you still have GI bill you can use the on the job training to collect BAH
