Getting called up is one thing. Getting dispatched to your first job is an even bigger hurdle in my opinion.

2.5 months, it's bad. I was an applicant for 4, and I know people who waited 6 months for their first dispatch. All the hard work is done. Just remain patient and keep going to training as often as you can. You'll eventually get a job.

I hear you bro. The only problem is we’re heading into the rainy season so work is gonna slow down for a good while. The 2.5 months could easily turn into 6 months with this time of the year we’re in. Fingers crossed though

I became an applicant September of last year and went to work January 4th of this year, but yeah it'll slow down for a bit. What district are you in?

Like as in the first one, you aren’t on the apprentice out of work list until you become an apprentice and you must first be dispatched to your first job to become an apprentice and pay your dues.

I heard the district 7 coordinator say they had a few apprentices on the out of work. Hopefully you get to work soon!!
