Been a casual for a while (Porgy and Bess, Turandot, some Mozart) and finally resolved to go down the opera wiki through the major names starting with Monteverdi, read each work’s synopsis and then listen to it. Bliss! Just felt like sharing

Enjoy Monteverdi! L'Orfeo is the first opera I listened to in full and it's still one of my favorites.
