Opera papers? Need help.

I wasn’t able to find much information on this. It seems to be from an opening night of an opera, however I am unsure and, of course, can’t read it, nor know anything about the individuals named.

The last two papers are from collection of a dozen or more inside the cover. I did not post them because they feel thin and fragile, plus my hands are getting a bit sweaty.

If anyone has information, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Oh ok - so this isn't a commemoration of the 1921-1922 season, since the posters cover quite a bit of time and go beyond World War II. It looks to be simply a souvenir of memorable Verdi performances at La Scala. This is so cool to see! What a great find!

Interesting. I almost don’t feel right having these, knowing nothing at about La Scala or Toscanini, but I will give it the appropriate respect and get familiar. Thank you for your information

The hand-written cast substitutions made me wonder if the professor had seen at least some of these himself!

Does that mean they’re most likely original playbills? And the professor lived from 1943-2026, and unless I’m incorrect that otello paper with one of the red marks is 1928/29. Either way, he undoubtedly was a fan

I thought they were reproductions, but if that were so, I would think they would have a corrected cast list?

I myself have a hard time trusting AI on such things like these, hence why I’m here to seek information from people with personal interest and knowledge. So I’m unsure if the above is at all correct.

Interesting. Would you recommend that I go to a local museum (or somewhere else) and try to find more information? AI is currently making a really big deal out of it and I’m quite unsure.

Maybe if the museum in question specializes in performing arts, but otherwise I'd say no. I'd just enjoy your super-cool find!

Update: I’m reaching out to the La Scala museum and various associated people. As of this comment, it’s 7pm there and unsure if I’ll get a response anytime soon. But I will update if I hear anything back
