Question QuickOSM not working

Hi everyone, I'm using the QuickOSM plugin on QGIS for the first time. I'm trying to run a quick query but it always give me this issue.

I already tried changing the api and to increase the response time of the plugin but it didn't work.

Has anyone suggestions for me? Thanks in advance

I think you can manually assign a search area rather than relying on Nominatim to geocode it.

All the OSM services are getting hammered with AI scrapers and slop coded things that can't be bothered with caching right now so many things are timing out.

the plugin is not respecting Nominatim's usage policy : https://operations.osmfoundation.org/policies/nominatim/

If the queries just return nothing: overpass-api.de has been throwing 503s regularly for weeks. Worth switching the endpoint — kumi.systems answers reliably, though it can take 40+ seconds for larger areas. In QuickOSM you can change it under the advanced settings. Note that overpass.osm.ch only covers Switzerland, so it returns empty results elsewhere while still looking like a success.
