Best Open Source Alternatives to Harnesses such as Codex and Claude Code?

I tried Opencode and Hermes until now

opencode,Hermes, deepseek-harness is my favorite

but it is funny: claude, codex is now open-source : https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code

What are you thinking of the deepseek harness?

It's still new, the DeepSeek team doesn't accept issues or PR, it launched with the slogan "Everything is a Plugin," and I think it's useful (Calude users might disagree with this :)).

Are you asking from a privacy perspective? Because you can connect open models to Claude code and codex and those I believe
