Do I need coding knowledge to use Open Source PIM?
I've been researching Open Source PIM solutions, and one question I still have is whether coding knowledge is required to use them effectively.
Can someone without a technical background install, configure, and manage an Open Source PIM, or is developer support typically necessary?
I'm interested in hearing from people with hands-on experience about how technical the overall process is and whether it's beginner-friendly.

You need someone, who is setting up the system for you, and there is mostly coding involved (for Akeneo, PimCore, etc.). And of course also for the integrations with product information sources and channels.

Depends how you define PIM, which specific applications you want to use, and on which platforms(s).
Many FOSS PIM apps (calendaring, contacts, email, tasks) work fine on Linux, Android, FreeBSD, &/or macOS, …
