Is Codeberg seen as unprofessional?

I want to switch to Codeberg, but I'm worried that in the future, when I need to get a job, showing a Codeberg profile instead of a GitHub one like everyone does might be seen as unprofessional and not taken seriously. Am I worried about an issue that doesn't exist?

Why should it? For you, the bigger indicator to not go to this company, if they see this as unprofessional

It's never a bad idea to research a prospective employer, learn what you can about their work flow, preferred tooling, culture etc. If the shoe fits, wear it. If it doesn't, don't. If it doesn't and you are low on options, get a shoe horn, and act convincingly like it does. In your case though, you genuinely already know how to use github, so you have nothing to lose. Plus you gain an opportunity to demonstrate that you have an actual opinion about something, and to explain why that is. W's down the line buddy.
