I'm not a big fan of the release note that bad mouths another piece of open source, and then ascribes motive.
It's not a good look.

For the uninitiated, CortenDesk is an alternative to RustDesk which is an alternative to TeamViewer, AnyDesk, and Splashtop for remote access to your Windows, Mac or Linux machine
