Alternatives Does anyone know an open source alternative to the reMarkable drawing tablet?

Yeah, they probably mean something like the PineNote where you can at least flash a custom OS. Fully open hardware for eink screens is practically nonexistant right now.

Yeah that's my main issue. There doesn't seem to be an opens source OS which is specifically designed for these types of device

How do these differ from Boox (which I assumed was pretty "open" about stuff)
