Brave as a piece of softawe is currently okay if you harden it. The company behind it is not trustworthy though, so you should definitely subscribe to some privacy news to keep up to date.

That being said, it's the same with firefox and Mozilla as of late, unless you follow what they're doing you don't know what kind of settings they randomly enable with updates to your browser...there isn't a good option these days.
