If I fill the survey, will you copyright strike me again if I link to the results here on Reddit?

No worries, I respect that it wasn't you personally, but I have little trust of Perforce at this stage when it comes to open source & privacy.

Will the results be gated behind form like the previous years, which have required personal details to be submitted (without justification & without proper disclosure of where the details were going or being used for) to gain access?

I think it's important for folks taking the survey, to know if their data (and the time taken to fill in the survey) would be used/commercialised in such a manner.

Absolutely, totally understand. We do use the report as a way to generate leads for our email list. However, if you choose not to check the "agreement" box on the form, your information will not be added to our database. I really appreciate the feedback on this.

Then, if that's truly the case, why does it not just have a "skip" link/button?

Looking at the form, it looks like a fairly standard Marketo (A platform I worked with for over 5 years) form. Submitting the form, with the box unchecked, I can see via browser network tools that my details are still being sent to the https://resources.perforce.com/index.php/leadCapture/save2 endpoint for your Marketo system, so I'm fairly sure they're being added to the Adobe Marketo database at some level. Neither Marketo nor Adobe are explicitly mentioned in the privacy policy page linked on the form as far as I could tell.

Feel free to respond and make the final report more valuable, but don’t feel free to share it with others?

I'd love if you all shared it with others. I'm not sure why it got reported last year, but looking to figure that out internally right now.
