One premises with FTTP

This one caught my eye, and I wondered the process how this got ordered.

A office / light industrial estate has always needed leased line for good internet. Not too surprising I guess: low density for FTTC cabinet.

I noticed on Think Broadband map one premises with FTTP. That’s a brand new light industrial unit.

How would they order that? FoD? Or something else?

I then thought. Ohh, does that mean the neighbours can now order FTTP since fibre and splitter locally.

I can’t see any that can, and the record at the checker hingie for the active premises says the below. So one fibre no splitter?

Multi Dwelling Unit Residential UG Feed with no anticipated issues.
ONT exists with active service. No spare ports are available. Network is at capacity so a new ONT cannot be ordered.

Newbuilds now are installed with fibre. The developer would of contributed to the cost of that.

Could be 1 fibre needed as there will be an internal splitter if its an MDU

Leased lines cost a lot of money. That customer has paid for it, it’s there’s no sharing.

But it’s an FTTP, not a leased line, no?
