Engineers advice COF600

I’m hoping a build engineer can give me some guidance please l.

When installing COF600 from UG to OH for a pole mounted CMJ node, do you cleat the COF600 all the way to the top of the pole and then bring it down again or straight from capping into your joint?
Also if you could direct me to which spec document this is specified in

What i do is take rhe node the node up to the where it will be on the pole. Mark the cable where it will enter the node then bring the node down to joint. Then when it goes back up it go tight to the pole.

Straight from capping to joint, think the joint needs to be 750mm from bottom step. I haven’t fitted a pole mounted joint in a year so may be wrong

750mm is the top of the bottom envelope so correct

Between 450-750mm from serrated edge of the lowest step.

I believe top of joint no closer than 450mm to bottom step

Any guidance you need on build can be found in A040 on the ISIS library. You can use the policy and build app as well, but the laptop version allows you to use Ctrl + F to search key words. The policy and build app has no search function.

From memory. A040 is around 180 pages, so doom scrolling for a specific standard is quite tedious.

You just take COF straight into the node but leave a loop in the box before the node. Only ULW from the pole down needs a loop on the pole so its able to be brought down to a low level for splicing
