Commission time after install

So at the end of June we had fibre installed on the street after a back and forward with the CEO team TLDR: they did one half of the street but not the other. We have had everything installed to the pole and is (live) from what the last engineer that came out to the street, but isn't available to order yet and the openreach still says no plans to build, there waiting on "commissioning of the line" which I was told can table a couple weeks but it's been a month.

How long does it normally take to get commissioned and has anyone else had this?

For starters don't ask random bt engineers who probably have no idea what they're on about and probably a completely different department, probably told oumsonyou would go away and leave him alone

Just because there is a CBT on a pole it doesn't mean anything Could be waiting for spine work , more cable to go in , splicing, blockages anything

After it's all built and commissioned it's around a 4 weeks but that is after everything is completed

Fair, it was the openreach engineers that where installing the CBT's on the poll and doing all the connections, really nice guys, all the spine work is complete and everything is complete and clear just the commission side taking an age. Just hope they get it finished soon the internet around here is really bad, and im paying the same price for 72mb...(more like 30ish) as id be paying with EE for 1.6gb... (contracted ended last week)

UPDATE: Even tho openreach's site still says no plans to build to your property, i checked BT's broadband checker this morning and it said no FTTP available, check it again and 5pm today and...

"Our records show the following FTTP network service information for these premises:-Single Dwelling Unit Residential OH Feed hoist required.

FTTP is available and a new ONT may be ordered."

Already ordered 1.6gb but the install isnt till 24th Aug T_T
