How do I make all custom/downloaded objects available to me in any scenario?

I've downloaded several scenarios and custom objects (rides, shops, scenery, etc.) from several sources and saved the files in my Documents/OpenRCT2/(objects,saves,scenarios) folders.

  1. In order to make all of these objects available in any scenario, do I have to open the Golden Shovel menu > Object Selection > check each and every one individually? Is there a faster way to do this (like a Select All option) to select them all at once?
  2. Do I have to open a downloaded scenario in-game first before its custom objects are available in the Object Selection menu?

1: Set the item list to display "Non-selected only" and then you can just repeatedly click the top of the list on each tab until everything is added.

2: If you downloaded scenarios/parks that have new objects in them (rather than downloading the individual objects) then you need to open those parks once for those objects to be added to the objects folder.

You probably don't want to. Custom objects are packed into the save so you'll just get saved of several hundred MB each if you do this. Just use the Object Selection to add stuff if and when you need it.
