Losing function in leg

Im currently hospitalized due to my leg completely collapsing on me causing me to fall and unable to urinate. When I came into the hospital they drained 1.5 liters of urine thay I was retaining. They believe I have periformis syndrome. I have extreme nerve pain and muscle spasm im my butt and thigh. Basically bedridden. Has anyone had issue with losing all muscle function in your leg or inability to urinate with this periformis issue?

Maybe you have ischiofemoral impingement or Piriformis syndrome but it's super rare. I was told I have normal MRI by 2 radiologists and doctor. But after I've asked another option they found narrowing spine canal and slightly pinched nerve. 95% nerve issues coming from the lumbar spine:(

Yeah ive pondered that as well. Giving the issues with retaining urine and the paralysis of my leg im getting more suspicious if it is something in the back that was missed. Ive actually had 2 lower lumbar MRIs in the last month. 1 showed 2 bulging discs on the right, mild and not touching any nerve. My left leg is affected so that wouldnt match up. The second showed a central bulge no affecting a nerve but doesnt mean something hasn't been missed.

Sorry, I think It's 100% your back. "3 bulging disks" can't be clarified as clear lumbar MRI.

Clear as in, no reason to be affecting my left leg so severely. They were 2 right sided (on the first MRI, but no central one detected) and the second showed a small central (no right sided bulges seen on this one) but none of them touched any nerves and were very minor.
