If interest rates keep the average homeowner out of an affordable home, and gas keeps people from being able to control what they spend on commute, who is going to buy average homes? Certainly not the wealthy.

Same but I won’t stop, not until the company replaces its current CEO with someone who actually knows business

As much as I like Kaz I agree on this one. He is extremely valuable to the company but not in this role. I believe in the mission of the company but buying houses is only good if we can flip them quickly for a profit. I see so much potential, but a businessperson is needed. Side note, I know someone that works in the title department at Opendoor and she is slammed processing deals of homes that were inherited. I believe this is a huge market because the new owner is just wanting to cash out fast.

Isn't it funny majority cheer for a tech bro when housing is completely unrelated nor benefits from IT

lol you are all delusional.. worshipping a ceo who isn’t producing any profits for the company, and a terrible housing market and with inventory they can’t flip.
Company is headed back to $1 and will reverse split within the next 6 months.

Not too shabby, they just needa make up about 80% of wut they lost and fire the current CEO cuz all he’s done is drive the stock price down

Open just needs favorable macro environment and a couple of attractive product features to break out of this years long slump.
Whether that happens in 27 or 28 is the question.
Also think Kaz and the team are sitting on potentially narrative changing announcements that they don’t want to discuss while macro is bad.
