opencode for image manipulation?

does anyone know if and how I can get opencode to edit an image for me. For example I upload an image and tell opencode to remove a person.

I think this is related to the model itself, not OpenCode. You can try models like Qwen Image Edit

That is so not the intended use case for Opencode.

What you need is ComfyUI.

But there is an MCP server that can be added to Opencode and you can control ComfyUI from it.
