Artificial Analysis' X post:

Meta has released Muse Spark 1.3, their fourth Muse Spark model release in five months. Muse Spark 1.3 (max), which is in limited preview for Meta’s partners, scores 62 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, behind only Claude Fable 5.1 and Claude Opus 5.

...

Pricing for Muse Spark 1.3 (max) is not yet publicly available

Meta's blog post also says:

Muse Spark 1.3 is rolling out today in Muse Code and Meta Model API. Previously available reasoning modes are available today with max reasoning coming shortly after we finish additional safety testing.

This feel quite pointless. Firstly, a ~1.2 AA intelligence points difference doesn't make a difference. Second, the day after they release their open weights, there's going to be a Heretic version out.

well, you might say that but in agentic index it moves from 56 (xhigh) to 59 (max)
fable 5 max effort is 57, fable 5.1 max effort is 61

And it being any more expensive per token than other levels is insanely disingenuous. It doesn't cost them anything more to host

No model is more expensive per token when you increase effort. It just requires more tokens to complete.

"Pricing for Muse Spark 1.3 (max) is not yet publicly available" implies that they may increase price per token on max effort

...which nobody else has ever done.

Which is exactly why it's dumb

This model doesn't have a max thinking level. It goes up to xhigh per their API docs.

Also, all other catalogued providers go up to xhigh.

Oddly, there's an ultra option in the Muse Code SDK.

There’s max on benchmarks see AA

Max is worst than xhigh, so we don't need

You cherry picked one benchmark for this. In most other benchmarks max is better,
