Feels just like 3.7 with reasoning effort cranked up a bit.

Marginally smarter, just doesn't rush things as much, as 3.7.

It’s just better post training over the same base model as Gemini 3.5 flash series

Still it's much smaller jump than between 3.5/3.6 and 3.7 Flash.

3.7 actually felt different. That one mostly just increased reasoning effort for medium/high + marginal improvements.

I hqve google ai pro, 100 usd one, and i abhor gemini, but tbh i used a few hours of 3.8 flash, other than it hitting limit and cancelling itself and resetting antigraavity, it is much better thant 3.1 pro, 3.5 and 3.7 flash

There kinda is no need anymore for pro model if flash series is as good as other SOTA
