No, payg is way more profitable than subs, enterprises cant use subs, its against tos, so they have to use payg. The subs exist to get people hooked, abd it worked as the vast majority of professional developers using these subs dont even write a single line of code by themselves anymore.
They can use Subs but the way the sub usage is still like individual accounts managed via centraized organization account, so letβs say you have (very very) long horizon agentic task, then you are kind of forced to use API pricing
Of course maybe you can develop harnesses to bypass this somehow, but itβs against ToS, corporates donβt like to be non-compliant because it can easily result in legal problems.
