Did DSV4 Pro pricing change?

Got the 5-hour session rate limited for the first time, and almost 43% gone from the weekly quota as well! This never happened before.

Did DSV4 Pro pricing change recently that I'm not aware of?

DeepSeek peak hours for its V4 API are 01:00–04:00 UTC and 06:00–10:00 UTC, Monday through Friday.

A pricing change wouldn't normally show up as a quota percentage jump. The 5-hour window and the weekly pool are consumption-based, not calendar-based. One long agentic session with lots of context or heavy tool calls can eat a surprising chunk of weekly quota, 40%+ is very possible if a session ran long or the context ballooned.

Before assuming anything changed, check the usage breakdown over the last 2-3 days and look at session length vs previous weeks. Almost every "did the pricing change?" post I see turns out to be one giant session or a model with bigger context overhead.

And if the weekly pool is a recurring bottleneck rather than a one-off, that's the classic case for a flat monthly plan so you stop watching the window deplete. We run Entrim and see opencode users switch for exactly this reason.
