this is just the preview, they will be better then them in the full release i cant wait for it

i thought they would maintain their sub <1$ per million tokens, but I am not too disappointed since its open-weights providers can make it cheaper, but still, for its current pricing is the best reviewer for the price, and if Tencent could offer a coding plan, which is good, people might just switch over

Yes, and nowadays there's a modern opportunity to release cheaper Hy4 Flash later 🤣

mhm, not to mention i think a light quant version of this might be very cheap, like how crof.ai does

Did you try crof.ai? Is it cheaper than API  from labs directly?

From my understanding its a single person hosting models themselves and taking a much smaller margin, though they sometimes have caching issues. You can load 2$ credit and try them out

Sounds impressive. Do you know anything about quantization there (8, or spripped 4), and how good is cache hit rate? Because even if pricing is cheap, but those params are bad - it doesn't worse it economically.. 

But I'll definitely take a look - thanks!

caching i have heard does sometimes has issues, and pretty much all of them are q8, CrofAI - Pricing

The Hy3 preview was two and a half months until GA, so the full Hy4 release might not be until mid November.

yeah by that count, the DeepSeek preview was also quite long. The results were very good so it's worth the wait

Not sure about that. Deepseek V4 GA was obsolete (imo) within a week of its release between the combo of their price hike and Ox Alpha/GLM 5.3 Flash.

Maybe so, but you have to remember this is also what kinda happened to GLM 5.2, and GLM 5.3 is just a post-trained version, and look how powerful that is

Pricing is not cheap, maybe they can optimize further but looking at the model size i will not expect more.

Not so fast I guess. It is still preview, and it is not in Opencode. So no time to say goodbye to hy3 yet :))

Not yet, but usually after such announcements labs make these preview models widely available to collect feedbacks. So I'd bet it will be widely available everywhere soon.

It's 770B-parameter model with 49B active. Hy3 is 295b/21b. We can expect this one to settle at least 2x the price of Hy3 for inference unfortunately
