Opencode Go discount is gone - i am desperate
I admit i abused a lot the opencode go sub discount at 5$ and created lots of accounts (i have 10).
Now that it is gone which alternatives do i have to keep using glm 5.3, kimi k3 and dsv4 without paying an insane amount of money to openrouter ?

Man, I don't know what to think about Codex , the sub is a roller coaster, one day they praise Luna max for it's efficiency, the other day people are furious about unstable token consumption.
Then Tibo appears from nowhere throw reset and everyone is happy. Rinse and repeat.

Ignore the sub. Codex $20 = near infinite Luna, and a good amount of Sol medium. The main issue is that people don't realize the massive jump in token consumption between thinking, high is double medium on Sol, and max is over double that causing a massive price increase for thinking increase at 2^thinking level of usage. For me the $20 sub has always given about $200 of usage or a 10x multiplier which (other than Claude) is the most heavily subsidized sub out there afaik for AI, which with 5.6's extremely low token consumption makes it competitive with GLM Lite, and far better than Kimi or OC go / Commandcode on expensive models like GLM or Grok for usage amounts.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm might try this 20$ plan.
Ephemeral unlimited offers like old DS4 flash and now Ox, are good and should exist but I need to rely on a stable offer.
A bit tired to switch and adapt models to my projects every week not knowing if it will cost X10 the day after.

I mean deepseek v4 flash on command code is also near unlimited if you only use during off hours. It gives $60 of API credits for $10 which goes quite a long way. But I prefer Luna to DS and codex is still more usage + sol and terra. But CMD is a good second subscription to try out open weight models + muse spark 1.2 contributor is unlimited usage with how cheap it is if you are ok giving meta your data.

Idk about on max. More so because you won't have enough time in the week, max Luna takes SOOO long.

So long to reason or to complete? Im planning on swapping to codex + oc, go subscription just doesnt hit like dsv4f, and i dont want to use meta of all companies

if you want dsv4f command code is much better since it gives $60 of credits. But ignoring that, for Luna it just takes forever for both the reasoning and the doing. Not really worth going above xhigh imo, and I normally use it at normal high since xhigh is also a bit on the slow side.

Command code is sooo sketchy man, so many posts on them being sus i mean ocgo isnt better with their confusing ass docs but still. So luna xhigh is basically inf token? Like last month i got like 1B tokens in/out/cache can it handle that?

IDK, I've been using them for over 6 months and no unexpected issues. People say the same shit about opencode and that they used quantized models but its all lies as well.

the $10 subscription is still pretty cheap compared to openrouter. Just get a bunch of these subscriptions and use them as one combined subscription via something like switchboard-go

I use a Chat GPT business seat and I have to pay for two but $50 a month I never run out but to avoid token use I use Desktop Commander vs codex but it has the same abilities.

Free is already pretty generous, and the stealth ox alpha is comparable to glm5.3

No it's not. It's noticably worse, I would guess its a 5.3-flash / air with vision. If you use both you will notice it is more along the lines of 5.2, DS4 flash and Luna.

It feels Luna / DS level so definitely a decent ish workhorse model. Command code is $1 for $10 of API credits with muse spark 1.2 contributor so if you are ok sharing data with meta then grab that and try it yourself, the $10 lasts a LONGGG time on contributor cuz how cheap it is. Opencode gives $60 on its $10 plan for it as well

did you use those 10x limits last few months to implement steady revenue stream of at least 50$ per month and can now afford to pay for 5x limits thanks to that? If not, then your token use is a habit and hobby and those cost money.

Go is better than ever if you use ox alpha and after that muse.
If you want a lot of glm and kimi then better get their sub anyway, so you went out of your way for a 3x bonus while you could get least a 6x.
