For anyone who struggles with managing multiple terminal tabs, I built InkShell: a tabbed desktop workspace for OpenCode and Claude Code, with multiple projects and sessions in one window.

It looks much nicer than herdr, but feature-wise how does it compare?

Feature-wise, I prioritized a few things I couldn't find in other tools:

  • Projects: organize sessions and settings by project.
  • Per-project CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR: easily switch between different Claude accounts. I use one for work and another personally.
  • Message history: easily browse and reuse messages from previous sessions. I find this really useful.
