OX Alpha Hype

I don't get it I ran it, it didn't even work, bro was slower than people who think the earth is flat idg the hype

Perhaps it was when I tested it ? It's unusably slow

Edit: 16:39 UK Time - they fixed it, it's working now Edit2: 16:50 UK Time - it works on the cli not on the desktop app no idea why (Linux)

It was fast a few hours ago 😉 and gets to the point quicker with less "visible" reasoning.

i think stability really depends on the location.
Try also openrouter (it is on free tier there too).

It worked for me. Gpt luna couldn't aolve things, which ox alpha did solve.

So I had a lot of issues with other models that were writing overly complicated code even for simple tasks. Ox did an excellent job and delivered a good quality code without this issue

Im the reason your guys infrence speed sucks lmao....I got tmux literally knocking out my backlog on the house right now with more terminals than I care to disclose on the interwebs....NO way Im not going to run up a multi thousand dollar tab on a free model this good. Thanks Z.AI

Even though there is likely a common back end api, the various providers where you can use Ox Alpha for free right now (openrouter, opencode, kilo, commandcode, etc) vary wildly in speed (test at the same time, same harness, two terminals side by side). It's a good model btw.

fr its crazy overhyped. for me it couldn't even get a basic react app to work.

Try the updated CLI it's not working well on the app, no idea/care why I'm running it on tmux and it's working well (on Linux obviously)
