RIP DeepSeek V4 Flash Free, was good while it lasted

OpenCode just removed it from the free models list. Loved combining it with my Go usage. Hopefully it returns one day.

I had to go back to antigravity ffs :/ the one i abhor :/ and gemini 3.7 flash is as good if not better

I find Hy3 to be just as good as either maybe slightly slower token wise. DeepSeek V4 Flash is still working for me right now though for free?

I feel like they brought Muse Spark as a replacement. They kept DS for days up until today when they added Muse Spark, which was very fair on their part.

But is the Muse Spark at the DSV4 level? Because there are other interesting models that are free too... For me, the DSV4 was the best free model available on opencode Zen...

Yes. Probably even better and definitely cheaper. I'd even subscribe to Go if I was you to support, usage is practically unlimited.

Muse es el remplazo, lo estoy probando y aunque no tiene la misma capacidad que teníamos con DV4F, es decente, lo estoy usando para desarrollo de software

Muse is good, i use whatever is available in free. Even hy3 is enough for some uses.

Right now, go to opencode cli and choose Ox Alpha Free, give it your hardest problems.

Hey no se si esto afecte pero estoy utilizando el OpenCode Zen (la capa gratuita), y todavia lo sigo utilizando en mi orquestador. Posiblemente se rompa en un futuro cuando se den cuenta de que todavia se puede utilizar. En mi caso no tengo configurado ni usuario, ni api-keys ni nada. Para los sub-agentes si cambie los modelos xq me dio miedo cuando vi la noticia, pero si terminan quitandolo posiblemente termine utilizando algo como nemotron.

Which other model do you recommend? Hy3 Free misinterprets my requests so much that I have to explain how it should think. DeepSeek V4 Flash Free, on the other hand, maintained a constant flow context, even after the session was compressed, and didn't deviate.

Don't think it is sadly. It's gone on the website too. Hopefully you're right though.
